When Lightning Strikes (Whiskey Creek #1) by Brenda Novak
The beginning of a new series by Brenda Novak about a small town a few hours away from Los Angeles that Gail DeMarco grew up in before heading to L.A. to open up her own PR firm Big Hits. She has many clients and especially one very difficult movie star client that gets to Gail. she tells him off and his exact revenge or rather his manager’s is to get all her clients to walk away from her business leaving her business destitute! Do we hear her groveling an apology to Simon O’Neal and his manager, Isn. Ian and Gail come up with a scheme to get Simon’s bad boy image straightened around so that he might be able to at least get partial courtesy of his son, Ty. Simon turns out to be a surprise to haul as she brings him home to her small town of Whiskey Creek and he manages to clean up his act. Twists and turns, surprises and challenges come into Simon’s’s and Gail’s path but strength and determination prevail along with love to make for happily ever after. Brenda has another hit series on her hands!
