A Wonderful Book Full of Opposites

The opposite of go is stop. The opposite of bottom, top. The opposite of left is right. When day is over, then comes night. -- And so it goes in this wonderful Rookie Reader pre-school book about opposites that rhyme. There are a lot of words introduced to your pre-school reader here, ninety-six, but the book is just adorable, even if there are so many new words. It's well worth reading again and again. The excellent illustrations by Margrit Fiddle, along with the rhyming really help to drive those words home. I like all the Rookie Reader books. They are just a great way to get a little pre-schooler started on his or her reading career. And an early start is so important in today's world. Children need every advantage they can get, so if you're a parent or guardian of a precious little one, I highly recommend Rookie Reader books. The dividends they will pay in the long run will be priceless.
