ISBN 1577558529 - Christmas board books are the genre of the day here, so I was happy to find Elmo among them. The negative to this is small - it turns out that this is one of a set of 4 books and all four have the same ISBN. The titles are My Christmas Tree, The Night Before Christmas, The Perfect Snowman, and Gingerbread Fun. Elmo and his friends comment on the action, alongside of the main images. The story follows a family as they go about their yearly tradition of looking for the perfect tree. They find it, cut it down and bring it home to decorate. This is a very small book, perfect for small hands. Kids will enjoy seeing their Sesame Street friends and the other illustrations are brightly colored and very attractive. No author or illustrator is listed on the book. Hopefully the publisher realizes the foolishness of being so cheap and re-issues the set with individual ISBNs.
