Great Diversity of Poetry

I first found this at my local library and I totally fell in love with it. There is such a diversity of poetry here with famous authors like Byron and Sappho, as well as not so famous authors. When's the last time you read a Hungarian love poem? I was surprised to find that a lot of the international ones such as the Egyptian and Indian poems ended up being my favorite even though I had never heard of them before. There is a fairly good diversity of topics as well; not only are there poems about love, but also kissing, jilted love, forbidden love, lost love, breakups, and many more. I think the editors chose the poems very well (though I wish that there were more Japanese poems. Some of the sections can be quite short) and this would be a great gift for anyone who likes poetry or is a romantic at heart!
