This wonderful little book challenges the young reader to see what is in their own backyard. You don't have go somewhere exotic, just look around and see and observe what is right there. Each pair of facing pages has some simple text (e.g. "Birds have nests in my backyard.") on one page, and a pretty illustration on the facing one. This is a very nice book, one that I really enjoyed reading to my little one. I liked that, instead of talking about somewhere far away, it showed just how much there is worth seeing all around you. We both liked this book and highly recommend it!
