First Howard learned to listen Then he listened to his heart Now he's facing nasty bullies And not feeling very smart No matter what he said or did He'd always lose his lunch To bullies like the Snorton Twins Who loved to rabbit punch He didn't want to rat them out He was afraid to tell But every day they'd beat him up And make his life a hell He wished he'd turn invisible Or fly above the trees Transform into an Autobot Or even try to please But nothing worked until at last He'd simply had enough He knew just what he had to do Before things got too rough I'd get this book for younger kids Now starting off to school So if they're faced with bullying They'll use the "Howard" Rule The illustrations are divine They tell the tale so clearly This is a book that kids should read And I say this sincerely Amanda Richards, November 1, 2008
