Phenomenal read--Might be my best read of 2025

The book provides a very meta approach to what it means to be a storyteller, firstly by calling to mind the famous essay "Death of the Author" and then by focusing on multiple storytellers within the book. By doing this, she creates an element of "Who's telling the story?" that kept me turning the pages. Additionally, Okorafor is able to weave a tale through the eyes of many, that highlights the struggles of ableism, racism, family dynamics, AI, and the celebrity spotlight.
