Some outstanding stories in the horror genre

This is one of those collections that come out every year. This particular year had Ramsey Campbell as one of the co-editors and it shows. Most of the stories are of a high caliber and were very well written. A couple of the stories I found to be too complicated to really follow closely. A few came from way out of left field (which is a good thing), but some felt formulistic as if there had been a template that they followed. The book is worth reading, but only if you are a die-hard horror fan. Otherwise, take a pass.
