Their epic three-year journey took them through Europe to Iran and Afghanistan, through the Khyber Pass to Pakistan and India, then to Australia and, finally, the U.S. and Canada. They supplemented their meager funds by performing folk songs, after which they achieved minor stardom as The Philanderers throughout Australia and the U.S. This light-hearted account follows the group as they undertake an expedition that would be impossible today.
